Minutes of the REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING of the BOARD OF DIRECTORS held on 2 Apr. 2007 in the CRTV Board Room, 500 Robron Rd., Campbell River, BC.

PRESENT: J. Kerr, K. Croft, L. Marshal, S. Sinnott, R. Kerr, B. Henshall and T. Renney.
ALSO PRESENT: Jim Forsyth, General Manager

1.  Call to Order at 7:03 pm

3.  Minutes of the Meeting:

Moved by K. Croft, seconded by R. Kerr:
THAT the minutes of the Regular Board meeting of the 5 March 2007 be approved.
CARRIED.

4   Ends Issues:

No Changes to Ends policies.

5.  Policy Review:  

Moved by S. Sinnott, seconded by T. Renney:
THAT Board Governance policy BL4 as presented was reviewed and accepted without change.
CARRIED

Moved by L. Marshal, seconded by T. Renney:
THAT Board Governance policy BL5 as presented was reviewed and accepted without change.
CARRIED

Moved by B. Henshall, seconded by T. Renney:
THAT Board Governance policy GP5 as presented was reviewed and accepted without change.
CARRIED

Moved by L. Marshal, seconded by T. Renney:
THAT Board Governance policy GP6 as presented was reviewed and accepted without change.
CARRIED

6.  Incidental Information:  

Moved by B. Henshall, seconded by S. Sinnott:
THAT the Consent Agenda be approved.
CARRIED

B. Henshall gave a status update of the activities of the 50th Anniversary Committee noting that the Banners
will be going up on the light standards throughout the City over the next month, VIP Party is being planned
for the 7 June 07 at the HMC, Board members need to be involved in the gift giving and event planners are
in place. The Board has also agreed to participate in the upcoming Home Show.

6.  Incidental Information:  

Moved by L. Marshal, seconded by S. Sinnott:
THAT the Strategic Communications plan as recommended, be approved.
CARRIED
