Radio Locator is a wonderful site that lets you discover many online listening options. We made a sobering discovery during this research. In the summer of 2006, it was estimated that there were some 2000 radio stations that could be located online. The Radio Locator site has listings of over 10,000 radio stations world-wide and links to over 2,500 stations that stream their broadcasts online. There is listening material for virtually every interest, curiosity and language!
At the Fall Home Expo, we learned that many listeners want access to their music in a room other than where their computer is. If you are looking at accessing your new-found FM treasures or want access to the music library you have on your computer, you have many options. Just a few are:
Apple's Airport Express allows you to create or extend a wireless network to share music or printers in your household.
