SKYPE, PULVER & MSN Messenger VOIP PC Service: The difference's between a messenger VOIP PC service and a VOIP telephone service like Vonage/babyTel are as follows: QOS (Quality of Service) of the VOIP telephone service is far superior. With a messenger service the call originator must be connected through a PC, whereas a telephone service can originate with a regular telephone. A messenger service is limited to a select audience. Basically you identify who can call you & in turn the caller must agree before connectivity is possible. If a caller is not on your list then they cannot contact you. You have a dedicated phone number with the VOIP telephone service and can communicate with anyone in the world connected via telephone. The KEY Advantage with SKYPE, PULVER & MSN Messenger is that they are FREE!
