Offer to Purchase Documents from Shaw

The following documents include correspondence between Shaw and the CRTV Board of Directors and other documents pertaining to Shaw's interest in acquiring the assets of CRTV. Copies of these documents are available at the office of CRTV and will be available at the Annual General Meeting to be held at the Tidemark Theatre on November 19, 2007. Voter registration is 7:00 with the meeting commencing at 8:00. Due to a suspected high turnout, we ask that only the members attend this meeting. The meeting will also be covered live on CRTV Community Cable 10.

As per the Annual General Meeting Notice which has been published in the local papers and on the CRTV website and Bylaw 21, there are no proposed special resolutions or amendments to the bylaws that are being voted on at this meeting.

There will also not be a vote regarding acceptance of the offer from Shaw. Bylaw 106 makes it very clear that "a decision to sell CRTV must be supported by a clear process." That process is written authorization by 75% of the members of the society. The Board does not yet have direction from the membership if the sale of CRTV is even an option to be entertained. All options facing CRTV will be reviewed.

Please note: A few of the documents listed may be appear to be out of sequence. This is due to timing of Board meetings and the date that documents were actually received by the relevant party.
